ELCB breaker (also know as RCD ,RCCB) is safe device in electrical system. From the name of Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker, we can know the device can detect any current leak in electric circuit.The leaked current might flow into the earth (ground), which is a safety concern since it could lead to electric shocks if a person comes into contact with the path of the leakage. ELCB function

An Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) constantly monitors current balance between two conductors. If an earth leakage occurs, due to insulation failure, the balance shifts, creating unequal currents. This imbalance produces a magnetic flux, triggering the ELCB’s internal transformer. Consequently, the ELCB swiftly disconnects the circuit, effectively preventing potential electric shocks or fires.
